STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND GENERAL TRADING INFORMATION
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and override all others. Receipt of an order acknowledgement by you constitutes your acceptance that our terms exclusively govern the contract, regardless of any terms you may propose.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 ACCOUNT HOLDERS
Payment must be made in full within 30 days of the invoice date unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing.
2.2 NON-ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS
Payment must be completed before 5:30 pm on the day your order is due to be dispatched.
2.3 DISCOUNTS
All discounts are conditional upon payment being made by the due date. We reserve the right to invoice the value of any discounts on overdue accounts.
2.4 VAT
Some printed products may be subject to VAT depending on artwork content. If VAT applies, it will be added to your order, and payment must be made before dispatch. If VAT becomes payable after payment, the customer remains liable and must pay the amount in full before delivery is completed.

3. OVERDUE ACCOUNTS
3.1 No goods will be dispatched for accounts overdue by 14 days or more. We reserve the right to charge interest at 5% above the Barclays Bank Plc base rate from the due date until payment is received. This is in addition to any other rights we may have.
3.2 We reserve the right to charge you for legal or collection costs if a third party or court proceedings are needed to recover overdue payments.
4. PASSING OF TITLE AND RISK
4.1 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
4.2 Ownership of the goods remains with Printset until full payment is received.
4.3 Until full payment is made, you must store goods separately and clearly mark them as our property. Any proceeds from resale must be held in trust for us. We reserve the right to enter your premises to reclaim unpaid goods.
5. PRODUCTS
We reserve the right to amend product details without notice. We strive for accuracy, but no warranty is given, and we accept no responsibility for errors or subsequent losses.
6. QUOTATIONS AND CONTRACTS
6.1 Prices may be adjusted to reflect changes in law, government regulations, or cost increases after contract confirmation.
6.2 Quotations are valid for 14 days from the quote date.
6.3 Prices, including promotional offers, are subject to change without notice.
7. PRICES
All quoted prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
8. DELIVERY
8.1 We strive to meet delivery estimates but accept no liability for delays.
8.2 Printset accepts no responsibility for delivery delays due to unpaid invoices.
8.3 International delivery times are estimates and subject to customs clearance.
8.4 Customs duties and charges are the customer's responsibility.
9. QUANTITY VARIATION
We may deliver within 5% above or below the ordered quantity and will invoice accordingly.
10. CLAIMS
10.1 Claims for damages, delays, or shortages must be made within 5 days of delivery.
10.2 Quality or quantity disputes must also be reported within 5 working days.
10.3 Goods must be checked at delivery; damage must be noted on the delivery note.
10.4 Non-delivery claims must be made within 4 days of invoice receipt.
10.5 Printset requires defective goods to be returned before any reprint is considered.
11. LIABILITY
11.1 Liability is limited to the contract value, except in cases of death or injury caused by defects.
11.2 We accept no liability without adherence to the claims process outlined.
11.3 We are not responsible for financial losses incurred from delays or errors.
11.4 Consumer rights are not affected.
12. REFUNDS
12.1 We reserve the right to rectify defects by reprinting rather than refunding.
12.2 Refunds will be credited if deemed appropriate by Printset.
12.3 If a reprint is offered, it must be accepted unless clear cause for refusal exists.
12.4 Commissioning third-party services invalidates any refund or reprint claims.
12.5 Defective work must be returned for any remedy to apply.
12.6 Refunds require 3-4 working days once agreed by Printset.
12.7 Cancellation charges apply for work already carried out at the time of cancellation.
13. SAMPLES
Samples must be returned in good condition within 14 days or will be charged.
14. QUANTITY CHANGES TO ORDERS
Order quantity changes must be submitted in writing before production begins.
15. ARTWORK AND PRINTING
15.1 Copyright for all designs remains with Printset unless otherwise agreed.
15.2 Artwork is printed in CMYK unless otherwise requested (additional charges apply).
15.3 Orders are fulfilled based solely on customer-supplied artwork.
15.4 Logo design is £180 for the first 4 proofs; £75/hour thereafter.
15.5 Retainer payments for design work are non-refundable once initiated.
15.6 Artwork changes post-order may incur charges.
15.7 Pricing includes one design per item; extras are chargeable.
15.8 We may print orders before payment unless otherwise specified.
15.9 All text, images, and logos are the intellectual property of Printset.
16. PROOFS
16.1 Colour may vary based on material and finish; no liability is accepted for differences.
16.2 Proofs are not supplied unless requested in writing.
16.3 Defective or incorrect artwork issues will be communicated to the customer; correction costs are borne by the customer.
16.4 Proofs must be thoroughly checked and confirmed in writing before print production.
16.5 Proof sign-offs must occur the same day to meet agreed deadlines.
17. ON HOLD
17.1 Orders held for more than 14 days incur a 5% surcharge plus a £10 admin fee.
17.2 Jobs held for more than 28 days may be discarded, and full charges will still apply.
18. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays or failure due to events beyond our control and may terminate the contract accordingly.
19. MISCELLANEOUS
Contracts are governed by English Law.
Reviews submitted via social media or TrustPilot may be used on the Printset website.
20. COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be lodged within 48 hours of receipt for assessment and potential reprint. Complaints outside this period will not be considered.
21. RESELLER
21.1 Printset retains copyright ownership over all materials.
21.2 We may update or change products without liability.
21.3 Resellers may use marketing materials only as permitted, without modification.
21.4 Resellers may only promote services identical to those offered by Printset.
21.5 Reseller product use is limited to internal support and demonstration purposes.
21.6 Materials may not be linked to or associated with inappropriate content.
21.7 Use of materials constitutes agreement to these terms.
21.8 Upon termination, resellers must remove all Printset materials.
22. VOUCHER CODES
Printset voucher codes cannot be combined with other offers.
23. CARBON OFFSETTING
We have partnered with Climate Partner to offset carbon emissions for qualifying products. Applicable charges will be indicated at checkout. This optional service is non-discountable and non-refundable.
